The vehicles range from Lifan (LF) 320 mini car; LF 520
Sedan and LF 620 Sedan are manufactured by the Lifan
Industry Group in China and would be distributed in Ghana by
the MAS.
Both LF 620 Sedan and LF 520 are designed with focus on
business and family use, while the stylish and sporty LF 320
Sedan is targeted at the youth.
The technology of the Lifan engine ensures an enviable fuel
economy supported by functional and aesthetic neatly body,
whilst the vehicle interior philosophy is elegance and

The driver and passenger safety and security are also well
taken care of. Significantly all the models have passed the
crash and emission standard test of the European Union (EU).
Launching the vehicles in Accra, yesterday, the Acting
Managing Director (MD), Mr. Abdul-Somad Musah disclosed that
apart from the Saloon Cars, Lifan planned to introduce SUV,
MPV, electric cars and mini car models to supplement the
existing passenger vehicles line.
Over the past years of its existence, Lifan Motors has
achieved excellent track record of quality, reliability and
affordability.
“Lifan cars met and exceeded some European standard tests
other Chinese manufacturers have not achieved in overseas.
Lifan is bringing these achievements to the Ghanaian auto
market with its partnership with MAS”, he stressed.
According to him, his company was very keen about its
relationship with Lifan Motors because, the Ghanaian
automobile users would not only have a chance to experience
the ingenuity and effectiveness of Lifan’s vehicles and
motorcycles, but would also experience Lifan’s emphasis on
safety and security with features including reverse radar,
security airbags, anti-side bump protection and child
protective devices.
Mr. Musah added that customers would also enjoy Lifan’s
affordable and good value for money vehicles which had been
proven in more than 50 countries which sale Lifan vehicles.
He noted that another key reason for MAS’ interest in
marketing Lifan’s products is the manufacturer’s interest in
ensuring effective after sales support, saying “Lifan has
promised to send a resident Engineer to MAS to ensure the
best after sales support”.
Additionally, the company also pledged regular support in
training personnel as well as providing spare parts
supplies, if the market is good.
Mr. Musah disclosed that Lifan was the first Chinese
automobile Manufacturer to offer three or 60,000
manufacturers’ warranty to its customers in Ghana.
This he said was an assurance to the customers that Lifan
vehicles were quality and reliable.
Mr. Musah therefore assured Ghanaians that Lifan is in Ghana
to stay, make a positive mark and become a leading part of
the country’s automobile industry.
The Head of Africa Region of the Lifan Industry Group, Mr.
Tony Tian revealed that annually, the company produces an
average of 3million motorcycle engines and over 100,000
automobiles which sold in over 150 countries in the world.
The Managing Director (MD) of the Graphic Communications
Group Limited, Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim Awal, who was the Guest
of Honour appealed to the Modern Auto Services to assemble
vehicles in Ghana.
This he said would help provide employment to the teeming
youth as well as solving the problems with vehicle
