Dwarfs vow to beat Vipers

Cape Coast Jan 6, GNA - Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs have vowed to beat their local rivals, Venomous Vipers in the second round of their zone 2B league match on Saturday January 6, at Cape coast.


Mr Siisi Tachie-Menson, Interim Chairman of the Club gave the assurance at the training grounds when he interacted with the GNA Sports on Thursday.


He said his boys have fully prepared for the crucial match and that they would leave no stone unturned to collect the maximum three points at stake.


According to Mr Tachie-Menson a win over their rivals would brighten their hope of qualifying for the Middle League and appealed to supporters of the Club to come in their numbers to cheer the club to victory.


In a related development, Alhaji Abubakar, Vice Chairman of Vipers said the supremacy of Dwarfs over Vipers was a thing of the past and therefore appealed to supporters of the Club to patronize the match and cheer the team to victory.
The first round ended 1-1.


Other pairings of the week are Great Odupong versus Winneba Windy Professionals at Agona Swedru, Sekondi Eleven Wise versus Tarkwa Real United at Sekondi while Sekondi Metro Stars vie with Samartex.
