Le Roy camps 30 locals this week

Accra, Feb 19, GNA – Ghana’s Black Stars coach, Claude Le Roy will later this week begin camping 30 selected local players in his quest to build a solid local team.

The coach told the GNA Sports that “I’m hoping to camp with these players to have a closer look at them to enable me know who fits into my plans”.

The French has picked 30 out of the 400 selected players for this week’s camping which is expected to last for six days.

Almost all the players are products of Premiership clubs.

Coach Le Roy said the team will periodically be camped in search of the desired rhythm and cohesion.

The players are expected to form the nucleus of the local Black Stars team.
The trainer was buoyant with having enough materials that will profit the national “Team A”.

Le Roy has often flagged the need to have a solid local Black Stars team since his appointment last year.
