Greater Accra Amateur boxing league continues on Saturday

Accra, March 27, Ghanadot/GNA – The Greater Accra Amateur Boxing Association’s league contest will continue on Friday, March 28, with 15 bouts at the Prisons Canteen at Cantonments.


First on the bill is a Flyweight contest between Faisal Abubakari – Bronx Gym and Duke Micah of the Fit Square Gym, with Jessy Lartey also of the Fit Square Gym taking on Sulemana Tetteh of the Wisdom Gym in the same weight division.


In the Bantamweight division, Felix Okine of Will Power Gym will slug it against Jackson Nortey of the Bronx Gym, whilst Sulley Mathias of Square Deal Gym battles Raphael Abrampah of the Wisdom Gym.


Emmanuel Nartey of Square Deal Gym will engage Emmanuel Tagoe of Sonia Gym in the Middleweight division with Nii O. Tetteh will contest fellow Gym mate Frank Bebu from the Fit Square Gym as they seek honours in the Featherweight category.


Other Feather weight battles on the night includes, Isaac Sackey from A/Q Gym facing Joshua Barnor from Panix Gym, Michael Pappoe of Panix Gym and Victor Kuwornu of Bronx Gym, and Confidence Hamenu from the Jah Bless Gym and Wisdom Ayala of Bronx Gym completing the list for the night in the weight category.


In the Lightweight category, Azumah Alanri of Ultimate Gym takes on Abraham O. Bonsu of Bukom Gym with Eric Doku of Will Power Gym fighting Emmanuel Abu of the Believers Gym.


Emmanuel Mensah of Will Power Gym will compete against Offei Dodoo of A/Q Gym with Joshua Addy also from Will Power Gym fighting Daniel Amarteifio of A/Q Gym.


Sulemana Lamptey of Square Deal Gym will fight Ben Lamptey of Will Power Gym in the Light Welterweight division, whilst Michael Anani of DE-Oak Gym takes on Felix Agbozo of the Ashaiman Star Gym in the same weight division.
