Tema Youth, Ashgold draw

Tema, Dec. 02, GNA — Poor marksmanship characterized by poor finishing upfront resulted in a goalless drawn game between Tema Youth and Ashantigold Onetouch Premier League match played at the Tema Sports Stadium on Saturday.

Alex Asamoah of Ashantigold started the misses when he fumbled at goal in the 20th minute.

Tema Youth had a golden opportunity to take the lead in the 42nd minute but Ekow Benson messed up to the disbelief of the sparse crowd.

Both teams resumed the second half with much determination, but Tema Youth who were slightly on top failed to utilise any of their chances.

James Tagoe of Ashantigold won the Best Player Award for the match.
Supporters of Tema Youth later, went on a demonstration against the decision of the Appeals Committee of the FA for a replay of their match against Accra Hearts of Oak.
