Great Olympics pip Real Sportive

Ho, Dec. 2, GNA - Accra Great Olympics on Saturday beat Tema Real Sportive 1-0 in their One-touch Premier League encounter at the Ho Sports Stadium.

Michael Ocansey, captain of Olympics capitalized on lack of concentration by the defence of Sportive to blast home the only goal of the match in the 87th minute.
Ironically it was Sportive who dominated most part of the game but were unable to take advantage of their opportunities as they kept on firing off the target for most part of the entire proceedings.

Sportive came very close to scoring in the 12th, 19th and 28th minutes but it was Salifu Ibrahim in post for Olympics to pulled spectacular saves to deny the visitors from scoring any goal.

Great Olympics increased the tempo of their game after the recess and came on top especially in the dying minutes of the game when veteran Winfred Dormon came in to add impetus to their attack to des-organise the defence of Sportive that culminated in Ocansey fetching the only goal of the match.
