World Cup - Ghana keeps Africa's hope alive after losing to Germany

Ghanadot, June 24, 2010

On Oxford Street at Osu, Accra, June 23, fans of Ghana's Black Stars raise the National flag high after qualifying for the next stage of the World Cup soccer march, even after losing to Germany by a lone goal.

There is no telling the loss as the crowd on Oxford Street celebrated throughout the night.  Understandably and by the rules of the game they have qualified for the next round of battle.

There was even a silver lining in the loss since it allows them to avoid England, a team that many think is a lot tougher than the United States, thw team scheduled to meet Ghana this Saturday.
