Kumasi, March 31, Ghanadot/GNA - The management of Nankani and Hagan Endowment Fund on Monday presented GH¢300 cash each to 10 brilliant but needy students of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi.

The money is to help them pursue courses in Engineering, Medicine, Science, Agriculture and Pharmacy.

Professor Martha Tamakloe, Chairperson of Board of Trustees of the Fund, presenting the money said since its inception in 2003, the Fund had assisted 50 students of KNUST.

She was optimistic the Fund would help address the needs of brilliant but needy students for human resource development of the country.

Professor Kwasi Kwafo Adarkwa, Vice Chancellor of KNUST commended the management for the gesture and called on corporate bodies to institute such endowment funds for the progress of tertiary education in the country.
