NHIS workers told to be good ambassadors of the scheme

Winneba (C/R), Jan. 10, Ghanadot/GNA - Mrs Georgina Asamoah, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Awutu Effutu Senya District Mutual Health Insurance Scheme has advised workers of the scheme to be good ambassadors wherever they went.

This, Mrs Asamoah said, would portray the importance of the scheme to the people and encourage citizens who had not been captured under it to register.

In a New-Year message to the workers, the Chairperson expressed her appreciation for the hard work and commitment of the workers towards the realization of the objectives of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).

Mrs Asamoah, however, warned them against complacency, stressing that if they worked harder than the previous year a lot could be achieved in the coming years.
Mr Christopher L. Oddoye, Manager of the Awutu Effutu Senya District Mutual Health Insurance Scheme assured the numerous clients of the scheme of more excellent services this year.

He appealed to people in both Effutu Municipality and the Awutu/Senya District to continue to show greater interest in the operations of the scheme.

Mr Oddoye urged them to handle clients of the scheme with deep sense of fellow-feeling and respect to promote higher worker-clientele relationship all the time.
The workers assured both the management and the Board of Directors of their preparedness to work harder than before to make the scheme successful.
