Four in 10 have gene that cuts
risk of cancer

Scientists have discovered a key gene that could reduce
the risk of people developing cancer.

A British study found that almost 40 per cent of the
population has the anti-cancer gene and doctors said it
could be identified by a simple blood test.
The development means patients could be warned at a very
early age that they are prone to the disease and could
make changes in their way of life to improve their
chances of protection.
It also raises the possibility of helping to develop a
cure, although the team that carried out the research
said this was a long way off.....

IFC to testify in Tsatsu's case according to Supreme Court
orders
Accra, Nov. 28, Ghanadot/GNA - The Supreme Court on
Wednesday ordered that the court's processes be served on
the Country Director of the International Finance
Corporation (IFC), inviting him to testify in the case in
which Tsastu Tsikata, former boss of the Ghana National
Petroleum Corporation, is being tried by an Accra Fast Track
Court, for wilfully causing financial loss to the
