New board members
for state-owned media

Accra, April 2, Ghanadot - Government has appointed
thirty-four persons to the boards of the various state-owned
media.
The announcement was made available in a press release from the
National Media Commission (NMC) and signed by Chairman, Mr. Paul
Adu-Gyamfi.
It will be recalled that government in February 2009 dissolved
the boards of all state-owned enterprises and corporations
pending the constitution of the Council of State.
The appointments made, therefore, are in consultation with the
newly constituted Council of State and the National Media
Commission.
The list of appointments is as follows: Ghana News Agency Dr
Anthony Bonnah-Koomson– Chairman, Robert William Hrisir Quaye,
Ajoa Yeboah Afari,Samuel V. Kanco,Sedna,Tamakloe Atienu, Kodwo
Xerxes Ahlijah, General Manager.
For New Times Corperation, we have, David Newton – Chairman,
Nyamekye Kwame, OwusuTogbe Adom Drayi, Mrs. Jeanette Quarcoopome,
Robert a. Baidoo Jnr, Dr. Sika Ahadzie, Kweku Duncan, and Mrs
Emma Asiedu -Managing Director.
Ghana Broadcasting Corperation, Prof. J.B.K. Aheto as Chairman,
Edward B. Asare, Yaw Wiredu Pepprah, Vicky Wereko Andoh,
Gayheart Mensah, Abdullai Dramani, Ophelia Ablorh, and Kwaku
Mensah Bonsu as Director General.
