Reshuffle ministers, Bagin tells Prez Mills
Audrey Micah, Ghanadot
Accra, Sept 11, Ghanadot -
The majority leader in Parliament, Alban Bagin has called for a
reshuffle in the nine-month old Mills administration. Mr. Bagbin
said it would do the young government a lot of good if a
reshuffle was carried out.
According to speculations, President Mills might carry out a
cabinet reshuffle of his appointees in the face of criticisms by
former President Rawlings that some of the appointees were
mediocre. Bagbin said there were weak links in the government
which needed tightening.
Hon. Alban Bagin told an Accra based radio station that a
ministerial reshuffle was critical towards strengthening the
Mills Administration.
“There are weaknesses here and there, so I think there are areas
that we need as a government to look into and maybe try and
invigorate them with some new faces that could assist to get
things going."
