CPP asked to adopt 21st century political strategy
By Awudu Salami Sule, Ghanadot

Accra, June 13, Ghanadot - Mr Kwesi Ennin, a fellow at the Institute of Democratic Governance has advised leaders of the Convention People's Party (CPP) to adopt a 21st century political strategy in order to raise its political fortunes in the country.

The 21st century political strategy he explained was for the leadership of the party to come out with a strategy which would appeal to the youth and therefore rally behind the party.

Mr Enning who was speaking at a forum in Accra yesterday on how the CPP could raise its political fortunes said, it behooves the leaders of the CPP to identify problems confronting the youth and come out with a methodology of solving the problems.

"With this the youth who are the future leaders of our country will see the CPP as serious political party and will support the party massively to bring it to power", he noted.

He further said, the achievements of Dr Kwame Nkrumah should be properly explained to Ghanaians with the intention of catching their imaginations. Mr Enning revealed that, majority of Ghanaians now did not witnessed the era of Nkrumah and it would serve the party good if it was able to explain the achievements of Dr Nkrumah to them.
