President Mills to attend ECOWAS Summit in Abuja

 

Accra, Jan. 9, Ghanadot/GNA – President John Evans Atta Mills leaves for Abuja, Nigeria, on Saturday, January 10, to attend an ECOWAS Mediation Committee Summit.

 

A press release signed by his Spokesperson, Mr Mahama Ayariga said Parliament had already been notified.

 

 It said pursuant to Article 60, clause eight of the Constitution, the Vice President would act in his absence.


President Mills is expected back home on Sunday, January 11.
