Tema Youth discipline Faisal

Tema, Nov. 18,GNA - Tema Youth put up a splendid performance to beat Kumasi King Faisal 2-0 in their Onetouch Premier League match at the Tema Sports Stadium on Saturday.

Determined to make their first appearance in the CAF Champions League next year, Tema Youth who joined the premiership this year, scored the first goal through Edward Affum in the 10th minute.

The early goal unsettled King Faisal who found the going tough and were jittery upfront while the Tema lads failed to increase the tally till the end of the first half.

When the second session resumed, King Faisal’s Ben Wilson nearly equalized for his side in the 49th minute but his beautiful shot was ably saved by goalkeeper Ernest Sowah in posts for Tema Youth.

Ibrahim Dodzi made victory certain for Tema Youth when he scored the second goal in the 79th minute.

King Faisal’s aim of at least earning a point failed to materialize as they continued to squander the clear opportunities that came their way to deny them any consolation.
