Audrey Micah

Accra, Nov 19, 2008, Ghanadot- The National Campaign Director of the Nana Akuffo Addo for President Team, Dr. Kofi Konedu Apraku has stated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has a solid and more imperative message which can improve the economic standard of the country and its people. He said the NPP needs to retain power to put these ideas to work to boost the economy and better living standard of the country.

He said the party’s developmental achievements over the past seven and a-half years are bed rock to propel and convince electorates to vote massively for the party.

According to him, the NPP has a well again credibility and track record to show Ghanaians that they are ready to take the nation to the next level under the leadership of Nana Addo, adding that under Nana Akuffo Addo’s administration, education in the senior high will be free and to him will help the youth go to school freely.

“A middle income country cannot be the ultimate goal for Ghana at best it should be a short term goal because it is not beyond Ghana’s ability to be among the community of the first world.

“Ghana would consolidate her democracy and make sure it worked in such a way that Ghanaians would experience its value and reap the democratic dividends”.

Dr. Konadu Apraku said democracy was not abstract but substantial and gave the assurance that under the next phase of an NPP government, the frontiers of democracy would be attended by shaping the nation in a direction that will automatically help the whole nation.

He called on party faithful and Ghanaians all over the country to rally round the NPP and Nana Akuffo Addo to enter the presidential palace to continue the good work of the Kuffuor administration.
