SG-SSB gets new Managing Director

Accra, Nov. 22, GNA - SG-SSB on Wednesday announced the appointment of Mr Alain Bellissard as the new Managing Director of the Bank.


A statement issued by the Bank in Accra said he takes over from the Mr Pierre Andre Taulet who has taken up a new appointment in France.


Mr Bellissard, until his new appointment was the Managing Director of Societe Generale in France with over 30 years of banking experience in many countries.


The statement said aside, Mr Bellissard's rich cross-cultural experience in international banking industry and an extensive international experience, he was also "an operational oriented leader" who had specialized in growth environment.


Mr. Bellissard, who is also Chairman of the Korea Foreign Banks Association, and Chairman of European Chamber of Commerce, has held various banking positions in Africa and Europe.
"His presence will add to the effective input of work in the company," the statement said.
