Economical Development of the Youth is My Priority- Akuffo Addo
Audrey Micah, Ghanadot

Accra, Nov 28, Ghanadot - The flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akuffo Addo has stated that the election of an opposition party in the December elections has the potential of slowing the pace of development in the country, thus the need for the good people of Ghana ; especially the youth to retain the NPP come December 7.

According to him the level of development achieved by the NPP government in the past seven years, especially in the capital must not be compromised for empty political promises from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Nana Addo charged the electorate to return the NPP to power to ensure sustainable development and better living standing, adding that, the solid foundation and the peaceful environment laid by the NPP government required the party yet another mandate to implement its viable policies for the overall benefit of Ghanaians.

The flag bearer of the NPP stated that should he be made the next president in Ghana , he would ensure that education to the senior high level is free. This he said would help in the eradication of illiteracy in the country and improve competence and aid in developing the human resource base of the country.

He educated the electorate on the voting procedures and said both the NPP presidential and parliamentary candidates are the first on the ballot papers and therefore, they should becareful on day so that they would not be deceived by political opponents during the electoral process.

According to him, Ghana ʼs politically transformed environment is a true indication that the NPP is the party for the people and that the youth are true beneficiaries of the development of Ghana .

Nana Addo said should the youth in the country give him the mandate to become the next president of Ghana, he will ensure that Ghana develops very well in terms of its social development agenda through sound economic policies and programmes that have a place, not only for the able-bodied teeming youth of the nation, but also the physically challenged and aged.

The NPP flag bearer advised NPP supporters, especially the youth, to conduct their campaigns in a civil manner and desist from insults and attacking personalities, adding that Ghana belongs to all of us and that our attitude will determine where the country will be after the general election.
