He said between the him and the NDC, he has the better chance to win and that “As a diplomat and a foreign minister who brought warring factors together in various countries, I believe I am uniquely positioned to work together with a divided Parliament” He concluded.

The flag bearer of the NPP was happy that the election was held in peaceful and transparent way which according to him has made the nation proud in the eyes of the international communities.

Nana Addo applauded all the contesting political parties and Ghanaians for ensuring a peaceful election and called the party faithful to come out and vote massively for the party.

On the other hand, Professor Evans Atta Mills disclosed that he is ever ready for the second round and assured that this time; the NDC will win hands down.

“I accept the result as announced by the Electoral Commission (EC) and I am ready for the presidency again. Ghanaians have already spoken and I want them to speak louder come December 28 to confirm their message to the whole world”.

He said Ghanaians want change and voted for will give change for a better Ghana to create equal opportunities for all. He acknowledged the EC, the media and NDC supporters for making this possible for the party and urged them to vote for the party.

Professor Mills noted that the NDC have won 7 out of 10 regions in the country which means the party is the majority in Parliament , thus there was the need for Ghana to add the presidency to the NDC “to make the change complete.”
