GCB gives to Ghana@50 Secretariat

Accra, Dec. 20, GNA - Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) on Wednesday donated two billion cedis to the Ghana@50 Secretariat as part of its contribution to the celebration of the nation's 50th anniversary celebration next year.


Mr K. G. Osei Bonsu, Board Chairman of the Bank, said the donation was to support the various expenditures of the celebration.
Mr Bonsu said GCB, the biggest indigenous Bank, also saw the donation as part of its corporate responsibility towards the development of the nation.


Dr Charles Wereko-Brobbey, Chief Executive, Ghana@50Secretariat, commended the Bank for the donation and urged other corporate organisations to assist the Secretariat.
