Kwabre West Constituency NPP Executives feted

Kumasi, Dec. 24, GNA - Mr Emmanuel Asamoah Owusu-Ansah, Ashanti Regional Minister and Member of Parliament (MP) for Kwabre West, on Friday organized a get-together for Polling Station Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Constituency.

The over 325 Executive members were entertained to music, food and drinks and later presented with a piece of wax print each.

In an address, Mr Owusu-Ansah wished them a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

He thanked them for their prayers and support and called for a renewed heart of commitment and unity of purpose for the years ahead to rebuild the party in the constituency.

He noted the numerous challenges that confronted the party in the constituency during the year and stressed the need for oneness and concerted efforts to forge ahead to bring development and knowledge to the area.

"Let us all remember that we are one people with common hopes and aspirations and therefore there is the need for us to be one with love and honesty to finish the work."

He was optimistic that with unity and understanding "we shall collectively achieve greater successes in the years ahead".

Mr Owusu-Ansah said nothing should be done to sacrifice the peace they continued to enjoy and work harder next year to ensure the survival and the development of the children.

He urged them to encourage parents to register with the National Health Insurance Scheme so that should they fall sick, they could benefit from quality health care delivery.
