NPP will accept the outcome of December elections -

- Mr Allan Kyeremanten, a former Trade Minister, has said
the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would accept the outcome of
the December election and appealed to all political parties
to do the same.
Addressing a rally at Kwanyako he said it was imperative for
all political parties to advice their supporters against any
act that would disturb the electoral process and bring the
integrity of the Electoral Commission into disrepute and
also disturb the peace of the country.
The Kwanyako rally, which attracted thousands of supporters
of the party, formed part of a one-week tour of Nana Addo
Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the NPP presidential aspirant, to the
Central Region.
Nana Akufo-Addo also visited Agona Asafo, Duakwa, Nyaakrom,
Nsabaa and- Agona Swedru where he also addressed a rally.
On the party's vision for the country, Mr Kyeremanten said
when Nana Akufo- Addo is given the mandate, his
administration would use proceeds from oil to develop the
country to the satisfaction of all Ghanaians.
He said the Kufuor government had fulfilled all its campaign
promises and these include the National Health Insurance
Scheme (NHIS), the free primary education, job creation for
the youth and the free maternal care.
Mr Kyeremanten re-assured Ghanaians that there was more to
be done when the party is given the mandate and called on
the electorates to vote it into power to enable it achieve
its vision of improving the lot of all citizens.
Nana Akufo-Addo also paid a courtesy call on the chief of
the town, Nana Ampen Darko V.
A teeming crowd formed around the chief’s palace and forced
him to address them before calling on the chief.
