Tetteh finds antidote in his
potent defence to handle Brazil

Cairo, Oct. 15, GNA - Black Satellites head coach, Sellas
Tetteh expect a vigilant defence to be an antidote to
Brazil's potent attack when Ghana meets the all-scoring
South Americans in the grandfinale of the FIFA U-20 World
Cup in Cairo on Friday.
Ghana's rear has been the opposite of the team's attacking
line that have so far recorded 12 goals
between Dominic Adiyiah and Ransford Osei and the coach has
the hope that his defence will make
the difference when they came against Brazil.
He told GNA Sports in Cairo that "my defence will have to be
very vigilant for the entire game to keep the Brazilians at
bay."
The coach said Ghana has come this far in the tourney which
no African country is yet to get to and they can therefore
not fail the country and the rest of the continent just by
making mistakes.
Coach Tetteh believes his charges have the quality to topple
every opponent and insists "the beauty of the team is our
ability to attack even when under pressure."
Ghana has conceded eight goals due poor to defence and Coach
Tetteh said the strength in the team's fighting spirit could
be a defining moment in the game dubbed as the expected
final.
The coach told GNA Sports that the feeling of playing in the
final is a super emotion and will do
whatever possible to come home with the global crown.
He said he expects the Satellites to sell out the good
football they have been noted for and work
towards a convincing win and to correct every mistake along
the way in search of a fine result to annex the ultimate.
Ghana has come close on two occasions only to fall to South
American opposition at the final
hurdle with a 2-1 loss to Brazil in 1993 and a 3-0 trouncing
by Argentina in 2001.
