The USA branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP- USA) is holding a historic Congress from Friday January, 10, 2014 to Sunday January, 12, 2014 in the Queen’s City, Charlotte, North Carolina. The hub of the Congress is to elect new executives and strategize to deliver fellow suffering Ghanaians from the social, economic and political hardships unleashed on us by the Mahama/NDC looting brigade. The Theme for the Congress is “UNIFYING THE PARTY AND EMPOWERING THE PEOPLE TO SECURE VICTORY." Special guest speakers to grace the event are Dr. Bawumia, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, Hon. Adwoa Sarfo and Phillip Addison.

Ghana today is riddled with pervasive corruption, nepotism, economic mismanagement, huge deficit and debt, growing unemployment, unbridled taxation and collapsed NHIS under the corrupt and incompetent Mahama/ NDC’s leadership. The ‘woyomegate,’ ‘Vicki leaks,’ STX housing, Cuban Medical Scholarship, Embraer aircraft, GYEEDA, SUBA, ISOFTON, scandals involving President Mahama, underscore NDC’s gargantuan scheme to loot the state. The woes of Ghanaians are worsened by the politically manipulated Supreme Court verdict, as revealed by Victoria Hammah, that culminated in unheralded judicial and moral decadence that have decimated Ghana’s nascent democracy. President Mahama and the NDC have moral and trust deficits with the ordinary suffering Ghanaian and therefore unfit to govern Ghana. Agonized Ghanaians are gripped with anguish and fear of a bleak future under the thieving NDC and the NPP is the last hope for deliverance. The majority poor Ghanaians beckon us to duty. They have confidence in NPP’s ability to redeem them because of our unmatched record of economic and social progress. NPP has enviable track records reflected in the NHIS program, free medical care for our pregnant mothers and sisters, school feeding programs for our deprived kids, mass transports for the underprivileged, and we found oil. As a party that has the ultimate interest of the ordinary people at heart, the NPP owes deprived Ghanaians and the generation unborn a responsibility to respond to the call of duty to deliver the people from the hardships we face today. However, to competently respond to the call of duty , we need to consolidate our unity, empower the grassroots and effectively mobilize suffering Ghanaians to secure victory in 2016. This will enable us to foster the visionary agenda of social, economic and political progress for all Ghanaians. The NPP will empower the people to make them resolute, steadfast and vigilant to challenge and defeat EC/SC/NDC’s chronic diabolical manipulations to “steal” the people’s verdict from NPP in 2016 as they did in 2012 ( as per Vickileaks).

The NPP is ready to restore the social, economic and political dignities of the Ghanaian poor. We will bequeath to them a free, just, stable, economically prosperous and democratic Ghana void of tribulations. The NPP will rebuild Ghana by implementing visionary programs to emancipate Ghanaians from social, political and economic hardships that the corrupt, clueless and incompetent NDC has bedeviled Ghana with. Ghana is at the crossroad where we need determined, courageous and visionary leaders to take bold decisions and programs and the NPP offers this leadership. THE CORRUPT NDC/MAHAMA IS NOT FIT TO LEAD GHANA. THE NPP IS THE HOPE OF GHANA. SUPPORT THE NPP FOR DEVELOPMENT IN FREEDOM IN GHANA. !!!!!

Signed Kofi Nsia-Pepra PhD,
Chair, Public Relations Committee, NPP-USA

Put Ideas and their equity in the leadership debate

Commentary, Dec 23, Ghanadot - By equity, we must expect value from the ideas – value as assessed in a property after all debts are paid. ...Thus, a competent actuary could tell that revenue from (and the equity stash in) the Akosombo Dam to date would settle any debt incurred in the construction and still leave us with some surplus; even after payment of any amount “generously” bequeathed to us by the British .....More ,

Blacks and Obama

Commentary, Dec 18, Ghanadot - In a March 2008 column, I criticized pundits' concerns about whether America was ready for Barack Obama, suggesting that the more important issue was whether black people could afford Obama. I proposed that we look at it in the context of a historical tidbit.....More
