PATRONIZE THE VOTERS REGISTER EXHIBITION.

In view of the on-going public exhibition of the Voters Register by the Electoral Commission, the Alliance for Accountable Governance is by this declaration urging all Ghanaians who turned up to register to endeavor to patronize the on-going exercise which is yet another crucial stage in our electoral process before the September 10, 2012 deadline.

By participating in the on-going exercise, you will be taking an important step at ensuring that your personal data has been adequately captured in the voter register; a prerequisite to earn the right to exercise your franchise come December 7, 2012.
AFAG is of the opinion that the December 2012 Presidential and Parliamentary elections are so crucial to the well being of Ghanaians, that no Ghanaian should be left out in determining which direction our beloved country should go.

Thus, whilst we admonish the Electoral Commission to intensify its public sensitization and awareness program with respect to the on-going exercise, we also entreat all other stakeholders, particularly the political parties, to cooperate with the Electoral Commission to ensure that the process is smooth.
Thank you.

Signed:

Arnold Boateng
