Hasaacas beat Wise 1-0

Sekondi, March 8 GNA - Sekondi Hasaacas on Wednesday beat their local rivals, Eleven Wise 1-0 in their 50th Independence Anniversary commemorative football match at the Sekondi Gyandu Park.

The Western Regional Planning Committee of Ghana @ 50 and the Regional Coordinating Council organized the match.

Isaac Donkor scored the only goal of the match in the 81st minute after Hasaacas seemed to have exhausted all avenues in search of a goal.

Before the goal it was Wise, a First Division side who were in the thick of affairs but also struggled on many occasions to find the net.

After the goal, Wise made occasional fast break attacks but found the Hasaacas rear unyielding as they matched them neck for neck until the end of the game.
Mr. Anthony Evans Amoah, the Regional Minister, presented the ultimate trophy to Hasaacas skipper John Ainoo on behalf of the team.
