Selected premiership players to feature for All Stars game

Accra, May 16, GNA – The Professional League Board (PLB) has announced the list of players selected for a Premiership All Star game scheduled for the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park, Accra on Sunday June 3.


The game which coincides with the launch of the Premier League Awards is being organised by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in collaboration with the PLB with Global Avanti Sports Association as the Media coordinators of the event.


The players for the Southern Sector are made up of (Goalkeepers) Laud Quartey (Hearts) Nana Bonsu (Liberty) Ernest Sowah (Tema Youth) Isaac Akon (All Blacks) James Nanor (Sportive).


The defenders are Joseph Takyi Mensah and Hassan Mohammed (Hearts) Daniel Yeboah and Bawa Mumuni (Liberty) Yaw Frimpong (Feyenoord) Louis Quainoo, Yaya Mohammed and Julius Adjabeng (Tema Youth) Ernse Mends (Sportive) Emmanuel Ansong (Olympics) and Samuel Inkoom (Hasaacas).


The midfielders are Stanley Afedzie and Francis Bossman, (Hearts) Michael Akuffo and Jordan Opoku, (Feyenoord) Iddrisu Mohammed (Lions) Emmanuel Allan, Kwadwo Asamoah, Kennedy Korlie and Sherif Danladi (Liberty) Addoquaye Addo and Francis Cofi (Power) Julius Agyabeng and Aberlu Gaisie, (Tema Youth) Ransford Kudjo, Charles Ampiah and Samuel Enzemebe (Sportive), Ishmael Yartey, Jafar Danjuma and Richard Mpong, (All Blacks), Francis mantey and Mohammed Tanko, (Olympics and John Ainoo (Hasaacas).


The Strikers are Samuel Ellis and Fredderick Quayson, (Hasaacas) Emmanuel Clottey, Andrew Pomeyie, Michael Ocansey and Francis Patamia (Olympics) Paul Appiah and Idan Bismark, (All Blacks) Frank Osei and Seth Opare (Sportive) Edward Afum, Kojo Koomson, Charles Boateng and Ekow Benson (Tema Youth) Ernest Okyere and Allan Shearer (Power), Kofi Nti and Michael Osei (Liberty) Emmanuel Osei Banahene, Baba Idi, Ibrahim Steven, Sadat Bukari, Eric Bekoe and Abraham Annang, (Lions) Dominic Adeya (feyenoord) and Eric Gawu, Rueben Sanyo and Moses Andoh (Hearts).


Those selected from the Northern sector are goalkeepers: Fatau Dauda and George Owu (Ashgold) Isshaku Shaibu (Arsenals) and Eric Nii Baah (Kotoko).
The Defenders include Adamu Mohammed, Isaac Vorsah and Michael Ofosu Appiah (Kotoko) Alhaji Sani, Jonathan Quartey and Godfred Yeboah, (Ashgold) Mutlalabi Mohammed (Arsenals) Eric Agyemang (Faisal) Abieki Aikins (Tano Bofoakwa) and Nuredeem Wemah (RTU).


The Midfielders are Steven Oduro and Douglas Nkrumah (Kotoko) Kweku Essien, Ben Wilson, Micky Kwadwo Fosu and Edmund Owusu (Faisal) David Talfa, Wakasu Mubarak and Kwaku Sarpong, (Ashgold), Justice Abban, Paul Odonkor, David Sarkodie and Eric Adusei (Tano Bofoakwa) Hannah Giwah and Gilbert Ayikade (RTU) Bright Nsiah, Prince Attakora-Gyma, Frank Yeboah (Arsenal).
