USA Ghana match report

It is such statements that really get me going.
Writing about Ghana's victory over the United States, sports
writer Rory Smith of Telegraph UK has this to say:
"This display was more than
enough to send a warning to Uruguay that there will be no
easy passage into the last four. For all that the section of
the draw has been labelled a soft route to the semi-finals,
Ghana are stout and solid, athletic and disciplined. They
have been imbued by Rajevac with Serbian virtues."
Serbia virtues? Well, no
surprise here. When was there any virtue ever in
Africa? One manager among a team of 23 Ghanain players and
he gets the nod in the virtue department!
From Serbi, with virtue;
right!
And no surprise there either,
I mean in Ghana, because even if we didn't give it to Coach
Rajevac, we would have given it to God, forgetting
that the Almighty is already in the individual. Sadly,
according to Rory Smith, the writer, God is in Coach Rajevac.
So thank God for bringing us virtue from Serbia!
But why must God bring the
virtue all the way from Serbia, HE couldn't plant the
virtue in Ghana?
Next, where was Rory and his
gift of virtues when Ghana beat Brazil in the under 20 World
Cup in Cairo to end ages of South America's dominance in
this game? The coach then was SellasTetteh, an
excellent coach, presumably with Ghanaian virtues. He
never got the accolade.
With only 10 men on the pitch,
against Brazil's 11, Ghana held on to win the game in over
time with a penalty kick from Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu.
That was God at work, in a
virtuous individual called Agyemang-Badu.
Anyway, don't let me ruin your
day. Go on. Read his report from South Africa.
The victory is suffocating...
