President Kufuor nominates new
Municipal and District Chief Executives
Accra, Nov. 30, Ghanadot/GNA - President John Agyekum Kufuor
has nominated six people for appointment as Municipal and
District Chief Executives.
A statement from the Office of the President in Accra on
Friday and signed by Mr Kwadwo O. Mpiani, Chief of Staff and
Minister for Presidential Affairs said Mr Baluwie N. Salifu
has been nominated for Sissala West District.
The rest are, Mr Isaac B. Alitu for Wa East District, Mr
Abanga Abdulai for Bawku Municipality and Mr Desmond
Bugbilla for Bawku West District.
It said Mr Douglas N. Koranteng has been nominated for
Krachi District and Mr Abdul Aziz Mohamed for Wa
Municipality.
