Hearts to play Meteors on Sunday

Accra, Oct. 3, Ghanadot/GNA - Defending league Champions, Accra Hearts of Oak will square off against the national Olympic team, Black Meteors in a friendly trail encounter on Sunday, October 7 at the El-Wak Sports Stadium.


A statement signed by the Club's Administrative Manager, Ashford Tettey Oku copied to the GNA Sports said the game is part of their preparation towards the new soccer season whose commencement remains uncertain.


It said the Meteors on the other hand would use the game to fine-tune their preparations for the penultimate clash of the Beijing 2008 Olympics qualifiers against the Amaglug-glug of South Africa next week.


The national Olympic team will host their South African counterparts on October 14 at the same venue.


The rates for the encounter is GH˘2 (20,000) and GH˘3 (30,000) with the Kick-off at 3.00pm.
